Back in Bogotá I have discovered that there is nothing better than being in your city. I came back to Colombia expecting something totally different of what have happened to me, but as I always say “everything that happens has a good reason”. So I am here living in La Candelaria, that is the most traditional neighborhood in Bogotá, working for the Santa Fe district in a tourism project and also involving Kankurua.net in all of this.
Is amazing that I am living in a real sacred house, in a Kankurua, enjoying the experience of the community life. Sharing my life with travelers an the owners of the place that have become great friends. I am developing new ideas and activities that support what I have been writing about the last years.
So Kankurua is home and going to help Bogotá to become the most desirable destiny for travelers in América.

Red Kankurua
Kankurua is evolving, we are growing and we know is time to be responsible for ourselves and what we are trying to teach to the world. We as a group have had a lot of trouble this last month. Living in Medellin has change our lives and now is time to move on.
The more I think about it, I know I have to go back to Medellin soon. I am in Bogotá D.C. dealing with the fact that I still direct thesis for students at the University del Rosario, so I have to be present in the presentation of a project at the end of the week, and in the graduate ceremony in Uniciencia the 29th.
The question that is in my head now is… what should I do? How can I do my best in that city? I want to teach Spanish, to help my friends in their business, to invest time in social work, to get involved in the Artistic movement of MED2007, to promote the work of Corporación Otraparte and to have time and money to party… All of that at the same time the projects of the new Corporación Red Kankurua are going on, specially “Our Walking Journey” and the “Guamacho’s ville” in Santa Marta.
God! I want the power of multiply myself….

What I am thinking about.
I just saw a tv note about the children of a school in Bogota that are proposing a law to make people realize that we can live in a country were garbage doesn’t exists. Is funny. Every single thing that is used can be used again or recycled and as we know it we can put the things that we call garbage or trash in the right place, the place were their cycle can continue in the best way.
Is like everything else in our lives. We have to realize that our power of being in the right place at the right time is what can make things flow in the best way. I am in Medellin, with Karla and Mango two more people of the team Kankurua moving ourselves and our ideas around Colombia. The first big project is about going in a route that Fernando Gonzalez our fantastic philosopher did when he wrote “Viaje a Pie”. From Medellin to the Pacific Coast close to Buenaventura the walking journey takes us troug the route of the Antioquenian Colonization, and in eighteen small and medium size towns we are going to make a documentary while we teach to young people how to do video integrating them in a nice video network. This beautiful journey is taking us into a deep trip inside ourselves and we love the idea of making it real, to help this part of Colombia find their connection, and make that the most interesting cultural-tourist destination.

Kankurua... again
Today after thinking a lot of the value of the word Kankurua, we (this limited group of people in Bogotá, Colombia) decided to buy the domains of Kankurua.com, and Kankurua.org in the net… and can you imagine our surprise when we found out that those domains were taken??? I am shocked… I want to know who are the people that have that, I want to know if they know the meaning of that powerful word, I want to know if that idea of “fundamental political works” want to use that word to make consciousness of how us as human beings get involved in the political affairs. Are they working for the empowerment of the people of the world, do they know that we have to find our own strength inside? Do they understand the occidental word holistic?
I ask now, to the Universe flow, to the memory of the Kogui people, to the infinity wisdom if somebody can answer my questions soon… I just want to know.

YULUKA
The meaning of that magical word I am always talking about... in spanish as I found it in a blog named yuluka too, I'll translate it soon.. I promise! :)
YULUKA
Estar de acuerdo en todos los planos.
Estar en equilibrio y armonía con la madre naturaleza.
Permanecer con el espíritu sano.
Respirar sabor a tierra, a agua, a aire.
Kaso Kaku Busintana
YULUKA
